Gold Coast Marathon

The 40th annual Gold Coast Marathon will be held Saturday 30 June and Sunday 1 July 2018. The event will comprise of the marathon, half marathon and 10km distances. Competitors will race alongside the Gold Coast’s beautiful surf beaches and broadwater and has a reputation as one of the flattest and fastest courses in the world. It’s ideal if you’re striving for a personal best time. There will be more than 25,000 participants of all ages and abilities competing over the weekend. Real Insurance Sydney Harbour 10k

The Real Insurance Sydney Harbour 10k is a fast and flat run with spectacular views. Held on Sunday, 29 July 2018, just one month before the spring classics, the Sydney Harbour 10k provides the perfect opportunity to check your preparation for a half marathon or marathon, or to go for a PB. 2018 registrations will open soon, so keep your eye on the Sydney Harbour 10k website for updates.

Blackmores Sydney Running Festival

The 2018 Blackmores Sydney Running Festival is on Sunday, 16 September. This is your chance to enter a full or half marathon along the Sydney Harbour foreshore. The faster, more scenic and spectator friendly course, has been widely enjoyed by the running community since the changes in 2010. There will be free public transport available for all competitors. This will be the best way to arrive and depart the precinct due to multiple road closures. . For more info, visit the website.

Medibank Melbourne Running Festival

Registrations are now open for the 2018 Medibank Melbourne Running Festival. This year the Festival will once again comprise of marathon, half marathon and 10km distances. The event is set in the heart of Melbourne with various event courses running through Yarra Park, St Kilda and the City of Port Phillip. Like previous years, the marathon is also planned to finish in the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Goodlife Health Clubs Rottnest Running Festival

The 25th Goodlife Rottnest Running Festival organised by the West Australian Marathon Club will be held on Sunday, 21 October 2018 and will comprise of marathon, half marathon and 10k distances. The start of the marathon is heralded by the wail of bagpipes at 6.40am on the Sunday morning. The bagpipes have become a traditional part of the marathon and can be heard throughout the marathon at Armstrong Hill.
